This sensory getaway transports you to a corner bodega with our friends at Funky Buddha in South Florida to recreate the flavors you’d find in a Cuban guava pastry. Championing the big, bold flavors that both of our breweries are known for, we brewed an imperial cream ale, adding lactose and vanilla to impart sweet, custard-like ribbons, and guava for filling its conceptual authenticity. It’s a collaboration that’s equal parts inspiration and admiration.
An American India Pale Ale; orange nectar with a frothy white head; light malt body; seriously chocked full of hop flavor and aroma with notes of grapefruit, peach, & honey. A hop head's soused hallucination.
We don't know what's up with all the demons showing up in front of Sunset Grill, but we are happy to help exorcise each and every spawn of Hell. After breaking the spirit of one particularly viscous breakfast sandwich, we brewed a batch of Undead Party Crasher, aged it 100% in rye barrels, then added Kalledevarapura Espresso from our friends at Barrington Coffee Roasting Company.
Originally brewed to celebrate the brewery’s 16th anniversary, and wildly popular as a seasonal release, Four Squared lives on in our year round lineup to quench the thirst of both the hop beginners and the most ardent hop heads. Lighter bodied and not too bitter, the balance of Four Squared leans heavily towards its dry hop component, a combination of Crystal, Amarillo and Mosaic hops that brings a brightness to the hop flavor and won't weigh you down. Save the resin and dank for your IPA, this beer is all about the tropical, juicy citrus that grabs you from the first sip. Dry and refreshing, bright and fruity, Four Squared keeps you coming back for more.
Bright and sweet malts are balanced with a generous portions of Columbus, Golding, and Fuggle hops in this Imperial IPA, with a bit of honey added just before fermentation. Tones of caramel stand up to the strong, but pleasant hop finish and high ABV to create an IPA for all to enjoy.
Modeled after the classic wheat beers of Bavaria, Hefeweizen is cloudy and straw-colored with a meringue-like head that lingers to the bottom of the glass. Brewed with an ample volume of wheat malt and few hops, this beer features a unique yeast strain that produces harmonious notes of clove, banana, and vanilla throughout this effervescent brew. A traditional interpretation of a classic style, this idiosyncratic Bavarian beer is perfectly at home here in Texas.
GYO is Rogue Ales term for Grow Your Own. Situated just across from 40 acres of Rogue hops, 7,140,289 honeybees are carefully kept and fed and the honey is uncapped, extracted, filtered and finally infused into a refreshing Honey Kolsch.
West Coast style India Pale Ale that combines 6 malts and 6 hops with additional dry hopping for three weeks. It takes about a month and a half to make each batch and we think it is worth the wait. Hints of pine and citrus with a powerful, yet balanced hoppy flavor, Hopitoulas packs a punch that you won’t forget.
Lawn Ranger is session ale with a solid malt character from the US 2-row, Rye, and Flaked Oats. Rye and Oats are not typical ingredients for a cream ale but they allow us to keep the alcohol low and still provide a some body to the beer. We use a minimal blend of Apollo and Bravo hops to balance the malts and German Alt yeast. This is the one to drink during the Texas summers.
Pours black, but with beautiful hues when backlit with a beige head. The aroma is that of dark roasted coffee with rougher cocoa undertones. After a few minutes of aeration, the flavor smooths to a beautiful blend of coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, and a hint of pecan nuttiness. Not tremendously complex, this medium-bodied brew with a creamy texture makes for an enjoyable drinking experience.
Blonde Ale with rice, cinnamon, vanilla bean. Our take on the traditional agua fresca incorporates rice and lactose along with spices for that sweet, creamy character that we've come to love. The name derives from Valencian orxata, probably from ordiata, made from ordi (barley). Various false etymologies exist – one legend links the origins of the name to James I of Aragon, who after being given the drink for the first time by a local in Alboraya, was said to have exclaimed in Valencian "Açò és OR, XATA!" ("That's gold, darling!") .
Oso Bueno. Translated as "Good Bear", our American Amber Ale is made for the summers and cuisine of Texas. Subtle caramel and toffee flavors with a touch of rye malt are balanced by floral and earthy hop aromas. So refreshing and delicious, it can only be called...Oso Bueno. #bearpuns
Pink boots society, a global nonprofit organization supporting women in the brewing profession, are thrilled to announce the release of an exclusive Wheat IPA hop blend to celebrate woman in the beer and brewing industry. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the pink boots Society scholarship funds.
A Scotch ale brewed by metal aficionados could be called nothing else but Real Heavy. Our take on the Wee Heavy style is an imposing malt forward brew weighing in at 9.7% ABV. It is brewed with English Crystal malt, English hops, and fermented with our house English ale yeast, resulting in a rich brown color and a toffee accented malt character. Bang your head with a couple of pints of Real Heavy.
Saule is French for “willow”, a traditional nine-year anniversary gift. Our ninth anniversary ale, Saule, follows in the footsteps of our anniversary releases before it, which are loosely based on an English-style old ale, fermented with our house yeast strain, aged in bourbon barrels and blended using the solera method. This means that a portion of each anniversary ale is saved in oak barrels and blended in with the next year’s production, providing more complexity and depth of character as the years go by. The result is layered in robust and complex flavors of toffee, caramel, dark fruit, vanilla and oak.
Very hazy gold color, reminiscent of fruit juice, white head. Bright fruity aroma, with notes of tropical fruit, pineapple, and melon thanks to the generous whirlpool and double dry hop infusions of Citra, El Dorado, and Azacca hops. Flavor gives an up-front citrus character, with a note of bitter orange zest, followed by a melon-like sweetness and tart pineapple and a mild hop bitterness that fades rapidly. Juicy. Delicious.
Stash IPA is defined by the hops – Columbus, Galaxy, Nugget, and Cascade create a hop explosion that finishes clean. Stash IPA is inspired by the West Coast IPA, focusing on delivering hop aroma and flavor. Stash IPA is a dank, resinous and enlightening hop trip. Stash IPA... it’s got mad hops! Malt: 2 Row, British Pale Hops: Columbus, Galaxy, Nugget, and Cascade Yeast: American Ale (Chico)
Our jumpshot isn’t pretty. And we’re no good when it comes to rebounding. In fact, you don’t want us anywhere near a basketball court. But when it comes to the perfect beer for taking it all in, we’ve got you covered. This beer has hops – a roster of 5, to be exact – added to the dry hop. Mandarina Bavaria & Mosaic provide the juicy orange flavors; Motueka, Citra & Helga assist the dank & piney aroma. Our brewers are known for drawing up big plays on big beers, and this one is no exception. Drink this fresh and go home a champion.
The Chosen One Coconut Ale- This American Ale is sure to surprise your palate with the sweet taste of toasted coconuts. It starts with a sweet biscuit taste and finishes with a hint of toasted coconut. 6.8% ABV
We used our one-of-a-kind Hop Torpedo to deliver an intense rush of hop flavor and the lush aromas of mango, papaya, and passionfruit with every sip. Enjoy our tropical twist on the American IPA. This beer is hopped with Amarillo, Citra, Comet, El Dorado, and Mosaic
We threw caution to the wind with our interpretation of a Leipzig-style Gose, featuring complex aromas and acidic flavors contributed by indigenous wild yeast and lactic fermentation. Lemon, lime and other citrus-like qualities are balanced by the spicy character of coriander and a mineral-mouthfeel from sea salt harvested on the shores of France, resulting in a refreshing beer that was worth the risk.
Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout aged for three months in Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrels. Deep ebony hue with a beautiful mahogany head, an aroma of fresh-baked bread, toffee, and espresso mingling with the woody vanilla notes of Bourbon whiskey and the rich roasted flavors wrapped with Bourbon.
